Temperature Resistance and Stability

Temperature Resistance and StabilityPTFE has the unique ability to remain stable at extreme temperatures of +260°C continuously and +290°C for short periods. Temperatures as low as -270°C can be tolerated. Thin coatings respond almost immediately to temperature changes retaining all the other qualified benefits without delaminating from the substrate. These properties can be best illustrated when used in the cooking and processing of food, moulding/forming and sealing of plastics and eleastomers.
