Non-Stick Coating & Release Coating

PTFE is a synthetic material. It’s unique chemistry is particularly useful in preventing hot or cold solid materials permanently adhering to the surface. It has high levels of resistance to the absorption of wet materials, it is very easy to clean and increases corrosion resistance to metal substrates otherwise attacked by aggressive liquids.

Very few solid substances will permanently adhere to a Teflon® coated finish. Although tacky materials may show some adhesion, almost all substances release easily.

Using the original idea of non stick coatings for cookware, non-stick coating systems have been developed to encompass a range of single, two or three coat systems, each system has been designed to perform a particular function, to match customer requirements.

Chemours invented non-stick coatings for cookware and has been the leader ever since and hold the majority of all patents granted in non-stick technology. Chemours is proud to say they are the undisputed leader in research and development, quality assurance, non-stick performance, and consumer trust!

Unlike most other competitive non-sticks, Chemours Teflon coated branded non-sticks coatings feature patented multi-layer technologies to ensure superior performance and durability:

Known for its non-stick properties, Chemours™ Teflon® is a beneficial ingredient for a variety of transportation areas including automotive and marine care products.

Applications
